It sits on the west coast, which is the driest and sunniest side of the island, and it has supermarkets, restaurants, dive centres and bus routes within the village. Sunsets face the sea. Le Morne, Black River Gorges National Park and Tamarin are all within a 20 to 40 minute drive.
